Master Dominick Panetta is a 7th degree Black Belt and chief instructor of American Kempo Karate. He was awarded his 7th degree by Grandmaster Richard Fescina and Professor Nicholas Bruno on April 3rd, 2016. He has been studying the Martial Arts for over thirty five years and opened American Kempo Martials Arts in 1994. Master Panetta was the Regional Director for the National Kempo Karate Association. He is also a member of the KSDI Black Belt Society under the late Grandmaster Adriano D. Emperado and a member of the Pikiti-Tirsia International stick fighting system.
Master Panetta is a certified Tai Chi Ch’uan instructor and purple belt in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Kioto Grandmaster Francisco Mansur. Master Panetta has been teaching American Kempo Karate since 1992. Some of the masters that Master Panetta has had the privilege of meeting and gaining knowledge from are; Master Larry Mangone (7th degree Kempo and Tai Chi Master); Renzo Gracie (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Master); Professor Nick Cerio (10th degree Kempo Master); Bill Wallace (Kickboxing Champion); and Fred Villari (Kempo Master). Master Panetta has been influenced by these masters in his own training, but his main focus is teaching the martial arts way to his students.
He believes that he has been given a gift to teach, especially children. It is very rewarding for Master Panetta to watch children learn and grow into positive, productive adults.
